nothing will be alright.

I don’t usually talk when I post photos, but I think this turned out pretty cool. Check out the back of the bus in the third picture. The rear headlight looks like its shooting out some old school lazer beams.

If you’re a sneaker head, or wear shoes in general, then you’ve probably owned something by Frank Rudy. After abandoning his military x aerospace engineering background, Rudy began designing things like sneakers. In 1977 when Phil Knight (Nike founder) wanted to create a shoe with air in it, he knew the man to call him. The rest, is history…

Dying with over 250 patents to his name, Frank Rudy has made an impression on fashion that will last forever. Nike CEO Mark Parker reflects that “Frank Rudy holds a singular place in the pantheon of Nike innovation” and that “his relentless creativity and focus on solving problems was, in many ways, the template for how Nike pursues performance to this very day.”

Rudy was 84, and passed away in his California home. Frank Rudy will not be forgotten as Nike prepares to launch the “Fresh Air” campaign in 2010.

R.I.P.

As we saw in the previous 3sixteen x Quoddy’s, the quality of these is on point. Hand made from start to finish, the new chukkas use premium leather. Too bad its like fucking impossible to find them.

Although I can’t see myself owning one, I find the candle that visvim made with the help of French perfumier Blaise Mautin very cool. Combining elements of Kyoto temples with an infusion of French scents, the candle includes distinctive notes of sandalwood. Personally, I like the multiple wicks in the candle and the measurement on the side.

N.E.R.D- Wonderful Place

I love love love this song. I don’t know why…I think its the whilstling at the start of this song that just cheers me up. Its great.

After two years of almost constant wear, I can guarantee these are some of my favourite shoes I ever owned. Although, I haven’t been the best to them and yesterday I picked up a new pair…which means its time to retire these.

Christmas.

I realize I’m a few days late but its been a hectic few days. No matter whats been going on, Christmas always seems to always bring people together. It’d been a while since I saw my brother and seeing him was one of the things on my list. Being away at university really cuts down on that. He’s so energetic, it was surprising that we were up by 9. He’s insane, my brother. He’s one of the funniest kids I know, and he reminds me of me when I was younger. Apparently I was a bit more out of my mind, but he’s still got a few years to catch up i guess.

Although its been a rough year for everyone, Dad always seems to pull through and make Christmas unreal. Although I’m not going to start listing off what I grabbed, theres some Gucci, some stuff for my Mac, some camera stuff and a whole lot more. Needless to say, I had a good year.

One at a time Aidan…

The most recent Futura x Nike Sportswear collection has hit various retailers over this past holiday season. Joining the recently seen Air Force 1 Mid is this Dunk High Supreme. A multi-colored camo print covers much of the upper with the rest featuring in rip-stop like nylon.

Sadly, its really hard to find decent quality and size photos of the other shots (the sexier ones) online without the site owner getting all touchy. Here’s a video shoot though..
